Congregational Life Centre staff have worked with many congregations and
leaders over the last 16 years and can design a program that will meet your
needs.

What is it like to experience being together in a spiritual community?
We use the concept of RooTS (Relationship, Task, Spirituality, and Outward
Orientation) as the foundation to create circles that centre around our
faith. This program explores how to provide opportunities for community
to build, and sets a foundation for safe sharing. This process can then
be adapted to offer circles to include a very wide range of topics for both
those in the church and those outside. It is the foundation for a ministry
that can re-vitalize the life of a congregation.

Understanding our individual gifts, talents and leadership skills is the
foundation to establishing how to work in a team environment. We provide
a structure and resources to help explore each of these aspects and then
work with the team to create a covenant of how they will work together.

It doesn't happen over night! This is a process that helps leaders identify
what steps need to be undertaken to move a congregation into the 21st Century.
We work with congregational leadership to guide them through a process that
explores their vision, mission and gifts, and then we partner that with
the needs of the community to identify possibilities for effective ministry.
If you are looking for someone to partner with you as you are exploring
new pathways, we can provide resources, support, and guidance as you journey.
Coaching can happen face to face or use technology such as Skype to maintain
communication.

Supported by the United Church of Canada, this structure for learning
has proven to be effective. Circles can be face to face or they can happen
over conference calls. We have found the conference call format provides
an opportunity for those who live in rural communities to have an opportunity
to learn with colleagues.
