It is a society where the blocks to growth are removed and the education and encouragement that enable people develop to the full are provided. It is a society where everyone has enough of what they need for a full productive life. Ours is a vision of a world in which everyone has a home. That means everyone has a place where they are accepted for who they are. It is a place where people's gifts are recognized and there is every encouragement to develop those gifts and put them to use. Exploring Possibilities
A Friday consultation, Saturday Workshop and Sunday Worship Experience
What we know is that congregations that are concerned only about their current membership are the ones that are shrinking. Congregations that are outward looking and determined to minister to the people in their community are the ones that are growing.
Two things make this workshop and the Sunday worship experience special. They ask people to share their dream for the community which the congregation serves. Then they challenge church members to be part of a leadership team that makes that dream come true.
